Donations - The Community Hygiene Bank

Two easy ways to give to the Community Hygiene Bank are donating funds or an in-kind donation of personal care items. Funds are used to purchase personal care items and support operating costs for our mission. In-kind donations are distributed directly to our community.

The CHB operates solely through grants, donations, and volunteers!

Donations are needed year-round

Donate funds

Donate cash or checks (payable to Jubilee Christian Church with the words Community Hygiene Bank in the memo line) and send to:

In-kind donations

We gladly accept your in-kind donations to the Community Hygiene Bank.
We prefer full-sized items for donations. We will also accept hotel-sized items.
We do not accept ANY prescription medications, or syringes.
We do not accept any over the counter (OTC) medications
All items must be new or unopened and NOT expired.

You can drop off in-kind goods to our physical address located at : 3565 Lake Ave North, Brockport, NY 14420.
A beige donation bin is located at the entrance of Jubilee Christian Church for this purpose and is checked regularly.

In kind donations needed:

bar soap – mens, women’s and sensitive skin
body wash – mens, women’s and sensitive skin
hand soap
shampoo
body lotion
toothbrushes (youth & adult)
toothpaste
deodorant – mens, women’s and sensitive skin
disposable razors – men’s and women’s
feminine hygiene products (pads & tampons)
bladder leak pads (similar to Poise brand)
adult diapers (any size)
incontinence/bed pads
liquid dish soap
all-purpose cleaning products (spray or liquid)
liquid laundry detergent (regular & sensitive skin)
dryer sheets
toilet paper
paper towels
facial tissue
kitchen garbage bags

Dignity Drive
If you, your group, or your organization would like to hold a “Dignity Drive” to gather items for our distributions, please contact us to help set up a “Dignity Drive”.

Donate Cans and Bottles Upstate Bottle Return
We have set up an account at Upstate Bottle Return. All you have to do is bring your cans and bottles to Upstate Recycling Location they have many choices, and tell them “give it to the Community Hygiene Bank” and they they will count them and add it to our accounts.
You do not need to wait for them to count them.
